We are seeking Jr Level and one Sr level ColdFusion Developer. Positions are based in our corporate office in the Rocky Point area of Tampa. This is a very team-driven “all hands on deck” environment so yes; we want your smiling face and winning personality in the office, sorry no telecommuters.

This position works with the project managers, QA team and other project development team members to develop solutions per client requirements and approved and approved design.

Duties are:

Develop client solutions per design, budget and timelines
Maintain web applications using standard API's
Follow Jagged Peak's programming standards
Identify and report potential development issues impacting timeline and/or budget
Custom develop applications and work with Senior Engineer and Project Managers.
Produce quality well-tested code to the assigned solutions
Keep up-to-date with technical as well as industry sector developments.
Perform other related job duties as assigned

The Web Application Developer will be mainly performing development tasks and unit testing. In some situations this position will also be asked to work on business analysis, architecture, BA and QA hand offs

Junior Level - some experience and hands-on knowledge of ColdFusion is required. Desire for a career as a developer.

BA/BS degree, plus 1-2 years experience or equivalent combination of experience/education is required.
Basic skills in CFMX/Coldfusion, Fusebox, HTML/DHTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML and SQL
Understand the principles of database design and modeling.
Possess working knowledge of SQL and relational databases (SQL Server and/or Oracle).
Knowledge of testing on major browsers and exposure to cross-browser/platform compatibility issues.
Knowledge of software best practices and documentation.
Must understand Web and Internet architecture.
An ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

Senior Level - Advanced to Expert level experience (we're really more interested in your ability than the number of years) with ColdFusion. Interest in potentially functioning as a team lead.

BA/BS degree, plus 5+ years experience or equivalent combination of experience/education is required.
Sr Level (advanced to expert) skills in all versions of CFMX/Coldfusion, Fusebox, HTML/DHTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML and SQL
Must understand the principles of database design and modeling.
Must possess working knowledge of SQL and relational databases (SQL Server and/or Oracle).
Knowledge of testing on major browsers and exposure to cross-browser/platform compatibility issues.
Knowledge of software best practices and documentation.
Must understand Web and Internet architecture.
An ability to work under pressure, extended hours, on multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
